The Women We Carry, written and performed by Ari Conte, ran at Marblehead Little Theatre in November 2019, after making its debut at The Green Room 42 in New York City.

The Women We Carry weaves a thread across continents and through generations, exploring the boldness and bravery passed down to Conte by her Italian great-grandmother.

 

Original text and song interspersed with re-imagined jazz and musical theater standards provide a melodic glimpse into one woman’s past, that leads you to delve deeper into the stories of the women that you carry.
